  This book is the result of years of in-depth study of Revelation—widely regarded as the most challenging book in the New Testament. Over time, I’ve listened to sermons and read commentaries that left me more confused than enlightened. In response, I searched for explanations that brought clarity. Eventually, I felt compelled to write a commentary of my own—one that I hope will help readers gain a clearer understanding of this profound and powerful book.

  Revelation is written in apocalyptic language, rich with symbolism and metaphor. To grasp its meaning, it’s essential to understand biblical symbolism—something I’ve taken care to explain throughout. It also requires knowledge of its historical context, especially the challenges faced by the seven churches in Asia Minor to whom John was writing. These churches were enduring persecution, and John used symbolic language that concealed the message from Roman authorities but would have been understood by the churches themselves. My aim is to bridge the gap between their world and ours, bringing Revelation’s message into sharper focus for today’s reader.
