Reflections on the Water
$15.99
After publishing my last book, I soon found myself writing a significant amount of material again. What took shape from this writing has developed into my fourth book of poetry, Along the Shoreline. Along the Shoreline is filled with over one hundred pages of memorable, moving poetry, including “Ancient Paths,” “A Tapestry,” “Moments by the Sea,” and “Sunset Sky.” Among the wide range of subjects and poetic forms in this book, Along the Shoreline explores perspectives on life, nature, biblical faith, love, and so much more. I’ve also included some narrative poems (i.e. “Concrete Forest”), historic fiction poetry (like “Civil War” and “Native American”), and a few sequels to poems from my last book. As with all of my books, I’ve put forth my absolute best work to create art that will resonate with anyone from the casual reader to those who really love poetry. My hope and prayer is that Along the Shoreline will be an inspiration to people everywhere.

Soon after publishing my first poetry book, Time and Tide, I began writing poetry for my second book. Writing Reflections on the Water has been an unforgettable journey, and I’m truly grateful to see this collection of poetry come into being. I believe the material in Reflections on the Water exhibits a progression in my writing that will be inspiring and enjoyable for anyone who reads it. Reflections on the Water has a wide array of subjects and themes, such as nature, the ocean, the moments of life, memories, God, His grace, love, faith, Jesus, and many more that I know will resonate with you. Packed with nearly 100 pages of my absolute best, all-new poetry, Reflections on the Water runs the gamut from the aesthetic to the esoteric and explores certain types of poetry more deeply, such as sonnets and narrative poetry. No matter where you are on the spectrum as a reader, I truly believe you’re going to love Reflections on the Water!
