How Should We Treat Our Enemies?
Sometimes people can be really, really mean. When someone is mean to us, should
we be mean right back? Or should we just ignore them? Are there any other options?
Emily Elephant and Sam the Turtle take a trip through time to answer the question,
“How should we treat our enemies?” On their journey they meet Ruby Bridges, the
amazing 6-year-old girl who was the first African-American student to integrate her allwhite school in New Orleans. Day after day, when Ruby walked to school, white
parents lined up and yelled at her. Instead of yelling back, or just ignoring the angry
parents, Ruby imitated Jesus by stopping, turning toward her enemies, and praying for
them.
Sam and Emily also learn about the book of 1st Samuel, and take another step with Mr.
Phil through the letter we call 1st John!
How Good Do We Have to Be?
All of us do bad things sometimes. We all can be selfish and mean. Emily Elephant
and Sam the Turtle take a trip through time to answer this question, “How good do we
have to be to make up for being bad?” On their journey they meet Martin Luther, and
learn that there is nothing we can do to make up for the bad we do, because everything
we need to be forgiven has already been done by Jesus!
Sam and Emily also learn about the book of 2nd Samuel, and take another step with Mr. Phil through the letter we call 1st John!

100 Devotions For Kids Dealing With Anxiety
$14.99Written by Certified Daring Way & Dare to Lead Facilitator Justine Froelker, 100 Devotions for Kids Dealing with Anxiety is a daily devotional that provides tweens and teens with spiritual guidance to help them deal with their anxiety.
This devotional is not a band-aid or solution to end anxiety because we know that anxiety never really goes away. Instead, this devotional meets children where they are by equipping them with the resources to develop a deeper relationship with God and empowering young minds to embrace everything that makes them who they are.
Tweens and teens, ages 8 to 13, will:
*feel empowered by the devotions and the daily Scripture references
*respond to prompts by writing on ruled lines for deeper reflection
*understand that anxiety issues are not something that should be hidden
*identify how to better handle their anxiety on a day-to-day basisAuthor Justine Froelker is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in traditional mental health and personal development and for seven years has been certified in the work of Dr. Brene Brown. She presents to global audiences for organizations like NASA Kennedy Space Center, Boeing, Square, Edward Jones, and Balbec Capital LP on topics such as leadership, courage, resilience, mental health, preventing burnout, and courageous and curious conversation.
